Teneriffe/Kamikaze Falls

Teneriffe/Kamikaze Falls:  early June 2012

Distance 6 miles
Elevation gain 1420 feet
Highest point 2370 feet

The "Kamikaze" part must have something to do with the fact that once you finally get up there (after a million tight little switchbacks) there is absolutely no where to sit and there is a momentary desire to fling oneself onto the hikers below who are coming up to make it even more crowded.  Still--not a bad choice for a hike close to Seattle and just the right amount of bun burn to make it worthwhile.

The Mighty Falls!

Yes-Justin had to hold the boys on a rock so that they wouldn't fall.
